As we step into 2026, we’re excited to welcome new and returning customers to South Bucks Tree Surgeons. Whether you’re in High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Thame, Chinnor, Haddenham, Princes Risborough, or anywhere across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, thank you for trusting our arborist team with your tree care needs.

2025 was our most successful year yet – and we couldn’t have done it without the loyalty and support of our lovely customers. Here’s what we achieved together, and what’s coming next as we celebrate nearly 50 years serving our local communities.

2025: A Record-Breaking Year for Tree Surgery Services

Last year, we completed nearly 2,000 tree surgery projects across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and beyond – our busiest year in almost five decades of operation. From residential gardens to complex commercial tree work, we expanded our services to reach more customers than ever before.

Comprehensive Tree Surgery & Arboriculture Services

Our 2025 projects showcased the full breadth of professional tree care:

  • Technical tree felling operations using specialist MEWPs (mobile elevated work platforms) and crane-assisted removals for challenging access situations

  • Precision tree pruning and crown reduction work requiring careful and precise execution

  • Professional tree consultancy for both residential homeowners and commercial property managers

  • We continued to work with local authority partners on highway safety schemes working on roadside trees and carrying out emergency tree work and storm damage response across the region. We know the importance of our emergency tree services to keep roads safe, particularly during challenging winter months

As our expert arborists always say: no matter how many jobs we complete, each tree remains unique and fascinating. That’s the passion that drives our commitment to quality tree surgery.

Expanding Our Tree Care Services in 2025

We launched two exciting new services last year to better serve our growing customer base:

Professional Tree Planting Service

Our new tree planting service successfully planted 75 sapling trees across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Whether you’re looking to enhance your garden or town, create privacy screening, or contribute to environmental sustainability, our arborists can advise on species selection, planting locations, and ongoing care.

Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) Removal

We introduced specialist OPM removal services to tackle this invasive pest affecting oak trees across the region. Our trained team safely removes these non-native caterpillars that pose risks to both tree health and human safety. Visit our blog for detailed information about OPM identification and treatment.

Community Engagement & Social Value Initiatives

South Bucks Tree Surgeons is proud to be an active member of the local community. In 2025, we participated in:

Arboriculture Career Education

We attended career days at Princes Risborough Upper School and Icknield Community College in Watlington, discussing the different types of arboriculture careers with students, such as tree surgery, forestry management, and environmental conservation.

Supporting Local Schools & Forest Education

We helped create outdoor learning classrooms and supported local forest schools by providing logs, woodchip, and other resources.

Charitable donations for 2026

Our charitable donations strategy for 2026 is being finalised, alongside an exciting training budget ensuring our team remains the safest, most skilled, and most fulfilled tree surgeons in the region.

What’s New in 2026: Enhanced Tree Management Support

We’re launching a new service offering in 2026 designed to help property owners navigate complex tree-related challenges with greater ease and less complication, including:

  • High hedge complaints and resolution

  • Tree root encroachment issues

  • Professional tree risk management and assessment

  • Tree-related liability and legal matters
