What sets us apart
Established in 1976 and still family-run to this day, South Bucks Tree Surgeons are experts in every aspect of tree management and care, serving Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and beyond.
Our
environmental commitment
Environmental responsibility shapes both how we care for trees and what happens after our work is complete - from reusing timber and protecting wildlife to providing ecology-informed advice for our clients.
Wood kept in use
Firewood, biomass, mulch and habitat
Solar-powered site
Fully off-grid facility
Habitat supported
Boxes, homes, hedging & wildflowers
Ecology capability
Training, assessment & evidence
No waste
All of our wood waste is put to further use. Suitable timber is converted into firewood for open fires and stoves, while other material is processed into woodchip for biomass or used as mulch on footpaths, gardens and riding stables. Any remaining material is stacked into eco-piles, creating natural habitat while it awaits reuse.
This work is carried out at our custom-built premises: a fully off-grid facility powered by solar technology and designed with sustainability at its core. We operate as a registered waste carrier and continue to work towards complete self-sufficiency and environmental sustainability.
