Whilst not a niche public sector provider, we work in partnership to successfully deliver on a variety of high value Estate Management projects. We feel these projects demonstrate and require exceptional skill and attention to detail. Two examples are;
Hatfield House
Classified as one the ‘Treasure Houses of England’ (ten of the most magnificent palaces, houses and castles in England). SBTS Ltd were selected as the trusted supply partner to conduct tree surgery works on the trees present in the ‘sculpture garden’. This was a significant project where many tree canopies overhung sculptures worth in the region of £30M. It required a careful & considered tree management strategy that not only delivered ‘Health & Safety’ benefits but delivered works that were complimentary/sympathetic to the heritage and specimen trees on site combined with ensuring aesthetically pleasing results. Exceptional ‘dismantling techniques’ and ‘lowering systems’ had to be utilized and it was vital that zero defects were left across the grounds.
GlaxoSmithKline (global pharmaceutical supplier) estate
SBTS Ltd were contracted to provide tree surgery works. This project utilized SBTS’s experience of managing large trees on site that included an avenue of Limes that reached up to 120ft in height. We were selected for this project because we were recognized by Chiltern Forestry that they could have maximum confidence is us to work on the ‘large tree specimens’ and that we would leave the site immaculate once the job was done (a key criteria to GSK).
