Tree Surgery and wildlife can work hand in hand

South Bucks Tree Surgeons Ltd is delighted to be in the final stages of completing work at Brookwood Cemetery on behalf of Woking Borough Council.

Throughout the project South Bucks Tree Surgeons Ltd has worked in partnership with the Surrey Wildlife Trust to ensure that tree works have minimal impact on the animals and wildlife that have made the Cemetery Woodland their home.

During the initiative a large bee’s nest was identified in a tree that needed felling on health and safety grounds. An expert bee keeper was called upon by our tree surgery team and the bees were successfully re-homed.

South Bucks Tree Surgeons Ltd presented the Cemetery Manager Diane Holiday with a jar of the honey collected so ‘Brookwood Cemetery Honey’ could be enjoyed by all of the staff that work at the site.

Do you have concerns about a tree in your garden? Are you concerned that works may be detrimental to wildlife? We are passionate about having a minimal impact on our environment and have developed a trusted network of wildlife experts to support all our business activities.
