Following a lengthy tender process and supplier evaluation we were delighted to be awarded as a supply partner to the commission supporting them in maintaining a diverse range of; PRoW, Bridlepaths and Footpaths.
We are predominantly responsible for assisting when their in-house team is not able to deal with more complex projects. Typical tasks are:
- Pollarding
- Deadwooding
- Complete tree removal – particularly for very dangerous trees
- Branch/limb removal
We have completed a project for them which involved the cutting back of woodland, the felling of some trees and flailing alongside a 100m stretch of highway.
We developed the Health & Safety requirements for the project, designed & submitted all of the traffic management provision (which involved traffic lights), booked the road space/highways notification with Buckinghamshire District Council prior to the commencing the work.
